Commentary
3-way speaker system.
A 30 cm diameter cone with carbon fiber mixed in cone paper is used for the low range.
In addition, a magnetic circuit with a copper cap is used to reduce current distortion.
A unit with a 4.8 cm diameter hard duralumin dome as a diaphragm is used in the middle area. The front of the diaphragm has a precision die-cast diffuser that adjusts characteristics and improves directivity at the same time. It is designed with multi-holes to eliminate sound masking effects.
The tweeter uses a hard titanium dome diaphragm with a diameter of 2.5 cm. Stainless wool is used as a damping material.
As with the mid-range, it is equipped with a precision die-cast radial diffuser for improved directivity.
The mid-range and tweeter are fixed using a floating mount system, which reduces IM distortion due to the effect of the woofer and prevents the original characteristics of the unit from being damaged. The baffle plate and back plate are both built-in and robust.
The network employs 1.2 mm air-core coils and metal-coated capacitors, and the mid-tone attenuator employs a newly developed non-inductive wound high input-resistant attenuator.
