Pioneer CS-R30

Commentary

R-Series 2-way speaker system.

A 25 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A special coating is applied to the cone part of the diaphragm, and it is equipped with a center cap made of duralumin.
The magnetic circuit uses a ferrite magnet of 110 mm φ. In addition, the long voice coil using aluminum plate bobbin and center pole with pure copper cap suppress non-linear strain and magnetic strain at large amplitude.

A horn type tweeter is installed in the high frequency range.
This unit is equivalent to the horn type tweeter PT-8D, which was sold separately. It uses a diaphragm made of polyester resin material with evaporated aluminum.

A CR compensation circuit is inserted in the woofer unit side of the network section to suppress the impedance change that rises toward the high frequency range.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.

A red grill is included as a standard. Also, there were brown and blue grills sold separately.
