Commentary
A speaker system that combines advanced design technology with a spirit of understanding music.
A 36 cm cone type woofer is used for the low range.
A long travel voice coil with a winding width of 28 mm and a magnet with a diameter of 200 mm and weight of 2.8 kg are used to improve resolution in the low frequency range.
A 6.5 cm dome type unit is adopted for the middle area, and beryllium is used for the vibration plate.
The structure that supports this vibration system adopts a double support system with a wire suspension using beryllium copper wire, and it realizes reliable center holding even at large amplitude.
In addition, the top of the dome is cut off to eliminate resonance sound, and a direct radiator system without the equalizer on the front of the vibration plate is adopted to eliminate sound absorption.
A ribbon-type tweeter (PT-R7 type) with a playback band of up to 100 kHz is used for the high band.
The enclosure is made of Apiton plywood with high density and high internal loss, including internal reinforcement.
