Commentary
High efficiency 3-way floor type speaker system.
A 30 cm cone type unit is used for the low range.
By installing a copper ring in the magnetic circuit, generation of magnetic strain is suppressed.
In addition, an impedance compensation circuit is adopted in the woofer part of the network to suppress changes in impedance and improve transient characteristics.
A 12 cm cone type unit is used for the middle area.
It is designed with emphasis on the connection with woofer.
A 2.5 cm dome type unit with 25 μ thick hard titanium for the diaphragm is adopted for the high range. A special polyurethane material with excellent linearity is used for the edge, and strain is kept low. In addition to the original directivity of the dome type, the directivity characteristics are improved by attaching a special fin on the front surface.
The magnet is made of large ferrite with a diameter of 80 mm φ to improve efficiency.
The enclosure uses hard birch board with 25 mm top and bottom plates and 20 mm side and baffle plates. It is designed as a bass reflex with 80L of loose interior volume.
Sufficient reinforcement and effective sound-absorbing material are placed inside to suppress abnormal resonance and standing wave.
Level control is provided for the middle and high frequencies.
