Commentary
Top-of-the-line tape deck with 2-motor 6-head function.
A constant voltage power supply and carefully selected transistors are used, the motor arrangement and head shield are carefully selected, and excellent sound quality is achieved through stable bias oscillation, etc.
It is a two motor mechanism using a hysteresis synchronous motor for the drive of the capstan and a special induction motor for tape winding.
This eliminates uneven rotation and always feeds the tape with proper tape tension.
It can be reversed automatically by the sensing tape or by using the one touch push button.
It also comes with a cycle selector that allows you to choose from 4 actions including releasing the Oatley berth.
The use of a 2-motor system avoids excessive fast-forward motion, and does not make the back tension larger than necessary to emphasize tape protection.

The pinch roller is a unique easy loading mechanism that sinks into the body at Stop and wakes up at Play.

The line 2 input is also located on the front panel and automatically disconnects the back circuit when the plug is inserted.
Line input and microphone input can be mixed.
The line output can be switched between fixed and variable levels.
You can also adjust the volume of your headphones freely.
The 3-head system allows simultaneous monitoring of the sound just recorded and the sound of the source by switching the switch.
Sound-on-sound is possible by superimposing sound on sound, with L playback to R recording and R playback to L recording.
Equipped with a track display device, you can see at a glance which track is running in which direction.

Equipped with a meter that can be raised obliquely even when used horizontally.
By using the separately sold remote control unit (PP-210), it can be operated remotely.
