Commentary
A full-auto player using a gear motor in a full-auto mechanism.
A direct drive system is adopted as the drive system.
Hall element developed by Pioneer's manufacturing method is used for magnetic pole switching, and generation of harmful noise caused by brush is suppressed by pure electronic non-contact switching.
In addition, Pioneer's precision machining technology is utilized for the turntable, rotating shaft, and bearing, which, together with the servo system, realizes stable rotation.
A dedicated gear motor is used for the arm drive of the full auto mechanism to eliminate adverse effects on the phono motor.
The full auto mechanism is equipped with a safety mechanism that protects the mechanism even if the arm is operated by hand during full auto operation. In addition, a speed detection type is used to detect Oatley turn.
High-sensitivity S-shaped pipe arm is used for the tone arm.
High-precision angular contact bearings are used in the horizontal and vertical rotating parts to achieve high sensitivity and reduce the degradation of mid-range characteristics caused by the looseness of the bearing.
The MM type PC 330 / II cartridge is used.
This cartridge uses a titanium pipe cantilever.
The cabinet structure adopts a double suspension system.
This system is fixed to a sub-chassis reinforced with a turntable and ribs, floating from the cabinet and equipped with an insulator made of natural rubber and butyl rubber.
