Commentary
A front-operated manual player with a quartz PLL DC servo motor.
High-torque quartz PLL DC servo hole motor is used for the drive motor.
A quartz PLL is used in the servo circuit of this motor. A reference signal from a high-precision crystal oscillator is used to control the phase difference between the advance and delay of the turntable. In addition, a highly reliable all-round integration method is used in the speed detection mechanism of the motor, which is detected by comparing with the reference signal of the crystal. This method generates an AC signal by 200 poles magnetized at equal intervals around the whole lower surface of the loader magnet and by a printed pattern coil with the same number of poles attached facing each other. Therefore, high accuracy can be obtained by integrating around the whole circumference. It is not affected by the magnetizing pitch or the mounting accuracy of the detector, and the high accuracy of the quartz PLL is ensured.
We have also adopted a brushless motor that uses a Hall element developed by Pioneer for changing the magnetic pole of the motor. By maintaining the accuracy of the shaft and bearing to less than microns, rotational unevenness of less than 0.025%, S / N of more than 78 dB, and rotational speed deviation within ± 0.002% to within ±%.
The starting characteristic is a high torque design of 1.3 kg ・ cm, and constant speed rotation is performed within 1/3 rotation.
New stability support and mass concentration system are adopted for the tone arm part.
The pivot of the bearing is stored in the pivot holder and is supported by a spring. It adopts an elaborate stability support system. Combined with a highly stable gimbal support structure, it realizes an initial motion sensitivity of 7 mg.
In addition, by adopting a mass concentration method in which the moment of inertia is reduced by bringing the main weight closer to the fulcrum (arm shaft), the traceability is greatly improved.
The cabinet uses coaxial suspension (coaxial suspension system).
In this system, a motor and an arm are mounted on an underboard, and the underboard is supported by springs from a die-cast cabinet and floated. This reduces the influence of sound pressure and vibration even during high-power playback, greatly improving the howling margin.
A MM type cartridge is used.
Equipped with soft-touch start / stop buttons.
With an oil-dump-type arm elevation, you can pull down the needle to the position you want to listen to and press the start button to get a quick start. In addition, a purely electronic brake mechanism linked to the stop button enables speedy record conversion.
Uses a quartz lock indicator.
