A record player with a low-speed DC servo motor.
The drive unit adopts a belt drive system using a low-speed DC servo motor. The rotation of the motor is decelerated and transmitted to the turntable via a rubber belt and pulley, and the effective torque is 1.36kg-cm.
The low-speed DC servo motor has low vibration, and the precision finished polyurethane belt absorbs even slight harmful vibration, ensuring high S/N the precision finished polyurethane belt. The servo circuit uses a frequency control method to improve rotational accuracy and minimize rotational unevenness.
A newly designed S-shaped tone arm with right-angle compensation is used for the tone arm. By right-angle compensation for the extension angle of the pivot and needle tip, the needle tip traces the left and right sides of the record sound groove evenly, making it possible to play a record with a good separation even if it has a sled.
In addition, by inserting neoprene rubber (hardness 45 °) inside the counterweights, external vibrations that adversely affect sound quality are absorbed and howling is prevented.
MM type cartridge PC-131 is used for the cartridge.
This cartridge has separate magnetic circuits for the left and right channels to obtain good crosstalk characteristics.
The cabinet is a combination of a new material, mineral solid, and wood underboard, and has an appropriate internal loss to absorb vibrations from the outside, as well as high strength and specific gravity.
Howling is also reduced by adopting an internal structure in which the turntable shaft and arm shaft are linked by a single plate and a newly developed insulator made of natural rubber and butyl rubber.
The use of a high-precision peripheral strobe and a waveform-shaped strobe lighting improves visibility.
Accurate fine adjustment of rotation speed within ± 2% is possible.
Equipped with mechanisms such as anti-skating mechanism, lateral balancer, arm elevation mechanism, and needle pressure direct reading weight.
