Commentary
A record player with high basic design and user-friendliness.
A 4-pole synchronous motor is used as the drive motor.
Since this motor rotates in synchronization with the power supply frequency, stable rotation can be obtained without being affected by load fluctuations or power supply voltage fluctuations. In addition, the belt used to rotate the turntable is made of precisely finished urethane rubber, and the pulleys and bearings are carefully polished using Pioneer's precision processing technology.
The tone arm is equipped with an S-shaped pipe arm.
An angular contact bearing is used for the vertical and horizontal rotating parts. In addition, the extension angle of the pivot part and needle tip is corrected to a right angle so that the record can follow the warp.
This tone arm is equipped with an anti-skating mechanism to enable 1g light needle pressure performance. In addition, by inserting neoprene rubber (hardness 45 °) inside the counterweight, vibration that adversely affects sound quality is absorbed and howling is prevented.
The newly developed MM type cartridge PC 110 / II has been adopted.
The cabinet uses a combination of multi-layer plywood and a new material, Mineral Solid, a new material with high specific gravity and high strength that can damp harmful vibrations with moderate internal loss.
Aluminum foil is attached to the inner side of the back cover of the cabinet to prevent induction hum. The PL-255 improves the induced S/N by 5 to 10 dB.
We have adopted a new type of insulator that combines butyl rubber and natural rubber by applying air pressure.
Equipped with anti-skating mechanism, lateral balancer, arm elevation, and needle pressure direct reading weight.
Uses a low-capacity output cord.
Equipped with a fleece top type acrylic cover.
