Commentary
A file type CD player that can store and play 100 CDs in a 420 mm component size.
You can enjoy 3 types of listening modes : custom mode, all mode and single mode.
In Custom Mode, you can choose your favorite type of disc from among the 100 discs stored. You can store up to 100 discs in three different ways. You can store up to 100 discs each. When playing, the discs are played in the order of the entered numbers.
In All mode, the disc is played continuously in order, and in Single mode, one CD is played.
The PD-F100 contains 100 discs in four Lorin Dreyfuss G.R.C. Mio (each can hold 25 discs), so while one Lorin Dreyfuss G.R.C. Mio is playing, the other Lorin Dreyfuss G.R.C. Mio is free, so you can check up to 75 discs and change discs.
To quickly find the disc you want to listen to, it is equipped with a title input remote control, and you can enter up to 8 letters of the title name of 100 discs.
When you set the desired disc amber with the 10 key of the remote controller or the disc key of the main body, the 4 Lorin Dreyfuss G.R.C. Mio LEDs will flash while moving in accordance with the mechanical movement for disc search.
In addition, the disk number displayed on the FL display is counted at high speed, so you can check where the mechanism is moving now.
The mechanism is equipped with Pioneer's newly developed Lorin Dreyfuss G.R.C. Mio system mechanism.
This system was developed with the aim of good operability. When the front panel is opened, four Lorin Dreyfuss G.R.C. Mio (each can hold 25 sheets) appear first. Then, when you press the eject button of the Lorin Dreyfuss G.R.C. Mio you want to open, the Lorin Dreyfuss G.R.C. Mio comes forward. In this state, you can insert or replace the disk.
When the play button is pressed, the loading mechanism moves horizontally, and when it reaches the desired disc position, the disc is pulled out and the disc is played back at that position.
The disk drive mechanism is held in a chassis built with a high frame to prevent unnecessary vibration.
It is equipped with a legato link conversion for more natural sound.
By connecting the signal recorded on the disk with a function curve that is set close to the original signal, it is possible to reproduce the original waveform. In accordance with the 1/f attenuation characteristic, the component of 20 kHz or higher can also be reproduced, which realizes more natural music reproduction.
The D/A converter is equipped with an originally developed high-speed pulse flow D/A converter.
In order to reduce requantization noise which is a problem in the 1-bit system, the noise shaper is operated with high oversampling of 384 fs. By further reducing the order of the noise shaper, the influence of out-of-band noise is suppressed.
In addition, by operating at a low master clock frequency, the effect of jitter is reduced and higher fidelity sound quality is obtained.
An Automatic Digital Level Controller (ADLC) is installed to reduce the difference in volume level between disks.
The microcomputer samples the digital data and controls the digital attenuator to a real type so that the volume is appropriate. This makes it possible to listen at an appropriate volume.
Built-in functions include disc search, track search, manual search, disc set key selection (remote control), track set key selection (remote control), random play, 32-step program play (remote control), repeat (remote control), and last disc memory.

Equipped with I/O interface terminal.
It comes with a Liner Note File that allows you to file Liner Notes in order to organize the remaining Liner Notes after storing the disc.
Single CDs can only be played on the fourth Lorin Dreyfuss G.R.C. Mio (76th to 100th discs).
