Commentary
Stereo cassette deck equipped with ribbon sendust head and Auto BLE system.
Ribbon Sendust Combination Head is used for the head part.
By laminating 11 sheets of ribbon sendust, which has been thinned to 50 microns thick, this head suppresses the generation of eddy current loss, which is a problem with metal-based heads, and improves the high-frequency characteristics. The fasciation of ribbon sendust is reduced to 11 sheets.
In addition, it is a combination type that can set the optimum gap width for each recording head and reproducing head, and prevents azimuth deviation.
Equipped with an Auto BLE system that can adjust the recording according to the characteristics of the tape.
In the Auto BLE system, the built-in microprocessor performs 4-bit arithmetic processing to match the recording bias, recording level (tape sensitivity), and recording equalizer to the characteristics of the tape, enabling optimum recording.
When the tape is loaded and the Auto BLE button is pressed, the adjustment is completed in 10 seconds, the tape is automatically rewound to the start position and the recording standby state is set.
The mechanism uses a closed-loop dual capstan system to improve the head touch by keeping the tape tension constant and to suppress drop-out, level fluctuation, modulation noise, and flutter components.
The drive part uses an electronically controlled DC torque motor with a built-in generator and a DC high torque motor to ensure high stability.
In addition, a dedicated electronic servo motor is used to drive the head base to minimize damage to the head by performing an extremely quiet operation even when the head base moves up and down. In addition, a motor drive system that uses the rotational power of this motor is used to eject the head.
A centralized display board is used for the display section, and LEDs display the tape running status, level meter, type of tape, and ON/OFF of Dolby NR System.
Equipped with 2-color LED level meter with excellent response speed.
Equipped with a timer standby mechanism.
Equipped with a REC mute function.
Equipped with a 3-position tape selector compatible with Norml, CrO2 and Metal.
Equipped with a memory stop mechanism.
Equipped with output adjustment volume with click.
The Dolby System is installed as a noise reduction system.
