Pioneer CT-720

Commentary
A stereo cassette deck developed based on the design philosophy of the CT 920.
The recording and reproducing heads are made of Sendust alloy, which has excellent distortion factor characteristics and high-frequency characteristics at high input, ensuring a wide range and an S / N ratio of 69 dB. In addition, the combination type prevents characteristic degradation due to azimuth deviation.
In addition, a special alloy erasing head for small windows with high erasing performance is adopted for the erasing head, and it can handle metal tapes with high holding power.
The mechanism uses a closed-loop dual capstan system to keep the head touch always in good condition and to suppress the fluctuation of the tape tension and the generation of modulation noise.
In addition, an electronically controlled DC motor with a built-in generator (for constant speed) and a DC high-torque motor (for fast forward) are used in the drive part to reduce uneven rotation and obtain excellent durability.
Equipped with an ATLC mechanism that removes tape slack when the cassette half is mounted.
Wide range 2 color FL level meter of -20 to + 8 dB is adopted, and it corresponds to the peak component of music which changes rapidly.
The response instruction is a two step switching type of average and peak.
Uses a soft push type direct change operation button.
In addition, since it can be preset, you can record the absence by combining with a timer sold separately.
Using a monitor switch, recording status can be checked in real time.
Equipped with a bias adjustment mechanism.
Equipped with a Dolby system.
