Commentary

A stereo cassette deck equipped with a third meter that can be used with three functions.

Equipped with 3 independent meters that can be used separately : dynamic level meter, bias meter and peak meter.

The dynamic level meter is designed so that it fluctuates slightly in the low range and considerably in the high range.
When recording, in general, the distortion tends to increase as the level increases in the low frequency band, and tends to saturate in the high frequency band. However, since conventional meters cannot read the frequency component of the input signal, recording at a higher level may cause high peaks in a source that contains many high frequencies, and distortion increases in a source that contains many low frequencies.
The dynamic level meter allows you to set an appropriate recording level that matches the frequency component of the recording source.

When the bias meter is used, the amount of bias can be checked with the meter, and the bias variable volume can be set to the proper recording bias suitable for the tape to be used. This can be used for various types of tapes and provides better recording characteristics.

The peak meter acts as a peak meter (Lch + Rch) with a fast response speed during playback.

The drive section is equipped with an electronically controlled DC-motor with a built-in generator with stable rotational performance. In addition, it is equipped with a large flywheel with large inertial mass. The capstan with high roundness and high surface accuracy is driven by a flat belt. This improves the accuracy of the drive section thoroughly and ensures excellent rotational performance.

The Dolby System is used as a noise reduction system.

Equipped with a tape selector with automatic tape switching mechanism for CrO2 position.
When a CrO2 position tape is attached to the Tape Selector, both the Bias / Equalizer switch automatically to the CrO2 position, and the Bias switch to the standard value for each tape, allowing fine adjustment while watching the Third Meter.

Equipped with a memory stop mechanism.

It uses a timer standby mechanism that enables you to record your absence and play an alarm.

Uses a large indicator.

By using a separately sold rack mount adapter, it can be mounted on an EIA-standard rack.
