Commentary

A dynamic processor that can control the dynamic range using an RG detector that operates at a fast attack time.

By expanding the dynamic range, the dynamics of jazz and rock can be reproduced more realistically, and at the same time, noise reduction effect is also obtained.

The dynamic range can be expanded up to 16 dB and can be switched in five stages : 4 dB (gain variable -2dB to + 2 dB), 7 dB (-3dB to + 4 dB), 10 dB (-4dB to + 6 dB), 13 dB (-5dB to + 8 dB) and 16 dB (-6dB to + 10 dB).

We recommend a setting of 10 to 16 dB for jazz or rock sound, or 4 dB or 7 dB for classical sound.

Equipped with a processor ON/OFF switch.

A noise reduction effect of up to 6 dB is achieved, which reduces tape hiss and motor rumbling and provides sound quality with less noise.

In order to prevent the gain difference between the Lch and Rch gain control amplifiers from being too wide, mixing is carried out at the input of the control circuit to prevent the orientation of the auditory overtone from changing even if there is a difference between the Lch and Rch input levels.

Low-noise differential transistor and IC are used in the gain control amplifier section.

Equipped with a dynamic expansion meter that allows visual confirmation of the amount of expansion.
