Commentary

An AV amplifier equipped with a full digital Dolby Pro-logic circuit, DSP sound field control and Pioneer Digital Surround Theater (PDS Theater) mode.

Dolby Pro Logic has realized full digital processing of steering logic (directional enhancement circuit), auto input balance, and other circuits that are important for Dolby Pro Logic. With the excellent phase characteristics and noise reduction characteristic of digital, crosstalk and S/N degradation of each channel are suppressed.

It is equipped with sound field control function by DSP which simulates sound field.
This system uses a computer simulation method to analyze various factors, such as the reflectivity of walls and floors and the distance from the sound source, which form the sound field of famous halls and jazz clubs around the world. The data is integrated into an independently developed 50-bit DSP, which can reproduce sound fields.
You can choose from four sound field programs : Hall, Jazz, Disco, and Church. You can achieve your desired effect by adjusting the effect level in 10 levels. In addition, Simulated Surround is also installed, so that you can enjoy a stereo sound field even with software that does not expand monaural.
In addition, 5-channel digital tone control using DSP allows compensation for differences in tone between front, center and rear speakers, and control according to settings and preferences.

Equipped with PDS Theater mode, the sound field control by DSP and processing to obtain more natural sound field feeling are added to the signal demodulated by full digital Dolby Pro-Logic circuit to obtain sound characteristics and sound field feeling suitable for AV rooms.

The amplifier section uses a 5-channel discrete configuration, and the power supply section uses a reverse winding condenser for higher sound quality.
In addition, we have adopted non-vibration and non-resonance designs such as direct construction, honeycomb frame, and honeycomb heat sink, which minimize degradation of sound quality by minimizing signal paths.

It is equipped with a digital input, and for D/A conversion, a 1-chip real 20-bit D/A converter is installed on the left and right front and center independently.

Built-in pre-out terminal and dedicated sub-woofer connection terminal.

It is equipped with a base synthesizer circuit that creates a natural deep bass and increases the impact.

It is equipped with a VCR1Rec Selector that enables reverse recording independent of the playback source and a Video Signal Selector that allows you to enjoy different images from the selected source.

It has a built-in Y/C isolation circuit that allows dubbing from the composite input to the VCR connected to the S terminal.

It is equipped with a function backup function that keeps the selector state even during standby.

On-screen display is possible.

Comes with a multi-function learning remote controller.
