Commentary
The basic performance of this AV amplifier has been refined through a fundamental review of sound quality and functions.
Focusing on the quality of the Dolby Pro-Logic circuit, we are digitizing the main circuit components such as the directional enhancement circuit and noise reduction, which greatly reduces signal degradation in the Dolby Process and improves the crosstalk and S/N characteristics of each channel.
In addition, the delay for adjusting the sense of movement and expansion is also digitally processed, making it possible to reproduce more clearly.
The power amplifier section uses all-discrete configuration for all channels.
The circuit design emphasizes sound quality and uses direct construction to minimize signal paths. In addition, honeycomb frame and honeycomb heat sink are mounted to reduce sound quality degradation due to vibration.
Equipped with a sound field control that allows you to choose the sound field according to the genre.
Using Pioneer's unique computer simulation method, the acoustic characteristics of famous halls and theaters around the world are analyzed. The data obtained from the analysis is stored in a DSP, and the desired sound field can be created.
You can choose from six sound field programs : Hall, Jazz, Disco, Church, Theater, and Simulated Surround.
It is equipped with a New-base synthesizer function that automatically creates an ultra low-frequency sound from the source signal.
The VSA 800 reduces source interference by further improving the operating accuracy and realizes a stable natural ultra-low frequency range.
It is equipped with a superimpose function that allows you to check the selected source and surround operation on the TV screen, and a function backup that retains the selector function even when the power is turned off.
It is also equipped with functions such as a video signal selector that allows you to select video and audio sources separately, and a VCR1Rec Selector that allows you to record on the reverse side or dub regardless of the source selected by the selector.
Built-in pre-out terminal and subwoofer output terminal.
Comes with a wireless remote control that is easier to use and more versatile.
This remote control can store up to seven continuous operations in memory, and is equipped with a multi-command function that can be called up with a single switch.
