Commentary
A CD player developed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Philips' founding.
The TDA1547 "DAC7" is used for the D/A conversion section. The DAC7 is equipped with a complete differential circuit in the chip itself, eliminating interference between right and left and even harmonics, and realizing a high S/N ratio improvement.
In addition, we have achieved a "double differential mode" with two DAC-7 devices for each channel, achieving higher quality than conventional differential processes.
In addition, a newly developed digital filter and SAA7350, which functions as an excellent D/A converter even on its own, are used for the noise shaper.
A CDM-4 mini die-cast mechanism has been adopted for the mechanism part.
A unique swing arm with a weight balance placed at the rear is incorporated into a strong die-cast base to suppress external vibration and provide a stable trace.
In addition, newly developed ICs for servo systems and decoders have been introduced, and error correction and jitter removal are also cleared by the large-capacity FIFO, enabling accurate reproduction.
The power supply section is equipped with a large toroidal transformer and a selected high-capacity capacitor.
In addition, by setting a dedicated power supply circuit for DAC7, the capability is brought out.
The chassis is a die-cast chassis that achieves high vibration resistance and no resonance, and the entire chassis is plated with copper to prevent noise.
It is also equipped with an E-SAC insulator that uses a new material with excellent shock absorption for the internal damper.
The balanced output is equipped with a high-end audio transformer that uses nickel core, and is converted directly into a balanced output without passing through an amplifier.
A dedicated remote controller is included.
This remote control is equipped with a jog / shuttle controller to improve operability.
Includes high-purity OFC cable and owner's plate.
