LHH600B
Commentary

In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the world release of CD, this Decade Edition model was released as a proof of Philips' accumulated technology.

In the D/A conversion method, bit stream conversion is adopted, and non-linearity distortion and 0 cross distortion are eliminated in principle, and musicality which cannot be obtained with general multi-bit method is realized.
In addition, the LHH600B uses a new bit-stream D/A converter "DAC7" with the aim of achieving higher quality music playback.
A differential circuit is mounted in the single chip in advance to eliminate interference of L/R signals and even-order harmonics to improve S/N.

In order to take advantage of the performance of DAC7, the differential mode is double-set.
A total of two DAC7 devices with a differential circuit are mounted for each channel, and an excellent distortion factor is obtained by double canceling out in-phase component noise.

The power supply section is equipped with a toroidal transformer capable of high-density voltage conversion, and the capacitor is a highly selected high-voltage type for audio use.
In addition, in order to create a pure processing environment, a dedicated power supply circuit is set in DAC7 to further improve linearity.

A high-rigidity diecast chassis of approximately 1.9 kg is used for the chassis, and vibration from inside and outside of the main body is reduced by taking anti-vibration measures for the printed circuit board of each stage.
In addition, a fifth leg with excellent vibration absorption is installed at the center of gravity of the body for more stability.

The DAC board and digital signal processing board are contained in separate copper-plated shield boxes to minimize the effect on sound quality caused by the mutual interference of each IC.
The entire die-cast chassis is also plated with copper to eliminate noise.

The output terminal is a large gold-plated pin jack to minimize contact loss.

It comes with a remote control with a jog / shuttle dial that allows you to do most of the operations by hand.
