Commentary
A CD player that uses a bit stream conversion method unique to Philips.
The D/A conversion method employs a bit stream conversion unique to Philips.
With 256 times higher oversampling and noise shaping, nonlinear distortion and 0 cross distortion that adversely affect sound quality are eliminated in principle, and even minute level distortion is completely eliminated.
A differential mode is adopted to take advantage of the characteristics of bitstream conversion.
This is a method of amplifying only the difference between the inputs to be applied to a pair of two amplifying elements. Even order harmonic distortion is canceled and distortion is improved over the entire band. It exhibits a stable effect even under temperature changes and realizes excellent sound quality.
A CDM-4 mini die-cast mechanism is used for the drive part.
It has a unique swing arm structure in which the weight balance is placed in the rear and moves smoothly in an arc with respect to one fulcrum.
It is equipped with a large capacity FIFO that can store up to 64 frames of memory, and corrects and corrects errors.
It comes with a remote control that allows you to control main functions at hand.
