Integra T-455NII
Commentary

FM/AM tuners using the クリスタルロックド method.

The クリスタルロックド method developed and adopted in the Integra T-411 has been adopted as a frequency-stability measure.
This method controls the local oscillator circuit that generates IF (10.7 MHz) using a recommendation. Regardless of the influence of temperature, humidity, and other external conditions, the IF (10.7 MHz) is precisely maintained and the local oscillation frequency deviation is kept within 0.005%.
This reduces the loss of sound quality due to tuning deviation.

It is equipped with locked indicator and tuned indicator in addition to 2 meters of signal meter and tuning meter.
This enables accurate tuning feeling.

A low-noise dual-gate MOS type FET is adopted for the first stage of the front end and the mixer. It is combined with an ultra-precision new-type four variable capacitor with high scale accuracy to achieve both high sensitivity and excellent interference rejection characteristics.

The bandwidth of the IF circuit can be switched between two stages, Normal and Narrow, and the optimum selectivity can be selected according to the radio wave condition.
In the Normal position, a stereo distortion rate of 0.1% or less and a separation of 50 dB or more are achieved, while a selectivity of 50 dB is achieved.
In areas where there are adjacent stations with a strong electric field, the Narrow position shows a selectivity of 85 db and sharply cuts interfering signals with a distortion rate of 0.4% or less and a separation of 40 db.

The entire circuit is designed take thorough measures against overmodulation.
The IF section uses a 2-block 12-pole linear phase-type filter with excellent passband phase characteristics and low temperature and humidity drift. The detector is designed to have linear characteristics over a wide band using a differential gain direct-viewing device with more than 100 times the accuracy of the commonly used S-curve.
In addition, the MPX section uses a highly stable PLL IC, and the AF section uses a ± 2 power supply system, resulting in a structure with large dynamic margin and little clip distortion.

Equipped with a Dolby unit connection terminal for FM Dolby broadcasting and a Dolby switching switch.

Equipped with a multi-pass trial listening switch useful for antenna position determination.

Equipped with 4 ch detection output terminal corresponding to FM4ch broadcasting.

The IF stage of the AM section is equipped with a triple tune filter to increase selectivity.
