Commentary
An FM/AM tuner designed with an emphasis on audio characteristics as well as high-frequency characteristics.
A 6-element mechanical filter is adopted in the IF stage to set a wide bandwidth with 300 kHz linearity, and a ratio detection method is adopted in the detection stage to realize S-shaped characteristics with excellent linearity with a unique peak width of 900 kHz. It maintains a sufficiently low distortion rate from minute input to large input.
The tuning indicator uses a distorsion meter with a sharp dip in the pointer at the point with the least distortion, and accurate tuning can be obtained with 1 meter.
The pointer swings to the left at the tuning point.
As a new mechanism, automatic switching of the FM/AM dedicated dial for lateral travel is adopted.
Equipped with DIN terminal, FM muting, and noise filter.
Equipped with two output terminals, fixed and variable.
