Commentary
This 3-way speaker system uses a ring radiator.
A 28 cm woofer unit is used for the low range.
A multi-corrugated plaster cone is used for the cone paper of the unit.
This product is made by coating the same amount of plaster material on the cone base material finished by multi-corrugation molding. Compared with the conventional cone type, this product increases vibration loss and sufficiently suppresses cone division vibration.
The magnetic circuit uses a long voice coil and a magnet of 120 φ x60 φ x15mm.
In addition, materials and shapes with superior strength and linearity are selected for supporting systems such as edges and dampers.
A unit with a V-shaped ring radiator is used for the middle area.
A 50 φ mm long voice coil is used for the drive system.
With the introduction of the ring radiator, it is possible to use a voice coil with a larger diameter than that of the ordinary cone type unit, and the input resistance is about twice that of conventional units.
In addition, the stable three point support structure reduces the distance from the driving point to the support point, so that a stable vibration mode can be obtained over the entire used band.
A 4-cm compound type tweeter unit is used for the high range.
A lightweight and highly rigid tweeter diaphragm is made of carbon fiber-based diaphragm material, cone paper with a structure of molded polymer compound, and titanium dome radiator.
70 φ x32 φ x10mm magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.
