Commentary
A 2-way speaker system developed by inheriting the technologies of MX5 and MX7.
A 28 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The cone section uses a composite cone, plaster cone, which is made by applying a plaster material equivalent to the cone base material finished by multi-corrugation molding. This ensures rigidity and reduces the occurrence of split vibration by increasing vibration loss by 7 to 8 times compared to conventional cone paper.
The magnetic circuit uses a long voice coil with a large driving force and a large magnet with a size of 120 φ x60 φ x15mm. In addition, a zinc die-cast reinforcing ring is attached to the connection between the voice coil and cone paper, and a rubber sheet is attached to part of the back of the cone paper to improve low-frequency characteristics by reducing fo.
A 4 cm compound type tweeter combining a titanium radiator and a carbon radiator is mounted in the high range.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex type.
