Commentary
Based on the M55, this is a compact speaker system that is easy to use and has the same performance and musical quality as large speakers.
A 20 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range using rotary sheet-making cone.
This rotary sheet-making cone adopts a special sheet-making method and arranges fibers that have been deposited randomly in a concentric circle while maintaining a fixed direction. It is rich in composition, has good acoustic matching with edges, and exhibits excellent frequency characteristics.
In order to make the most of this cone, it is driven by a magnetic circuit with a total magnetic flux of 91,000 maxwell. In addition, by adopting an edge with a new material, the low-frequency reproduction limit is widened and the mid-range characteristics are improved.
A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of carefully selected fabric coated with viscoelastic material of special blend with large tan δ with milligram accuracy, and finished into a high rigidity diaphragm with uniform density and thickness that is lightweight.
In addition to the use of low-loss capacitors and low-resistance internal wiring materials for the network, computer simulation is utilized to narrow down network constants and unit layout to determine optimum constants.
It also has a level control for the high-frequency range.
The enclosure is a sealed cabinet with a strong structure by using baffle plates and back plates of sufficient thickness.
