ONKYO E-83AmkIII

Commentary

This speaker system is based on the E-83AmkII and pursues instantaneous characteristics such as attack sound.

The low-range is equipped with a high-compliance type 30 cm cone woofer.
Mechanical strain is suppressed by the suspension system such as neoprene foam rubber edge and epoxy / glass fiber laminated butterfly damper, and input resistance is improved by the adoption of edgewise wound voice coil and aluminum foil bobbin.

The mid-range is equipped with a horn type squaker, an improved version of the HM-500AmkII.
An ultra-hard duralumin diaphragm with a thickness of 40 microns is used for the diaphragm, and a newly designed double equalizer is used for the throat section to improve sharpness in the middle and high range.
The horn throat of the E-83AmkIII is equipped with a newly designed double equalizer, which improves the high-frequency characteristics by making the slit double so that the sound emitted from each part of the diaphragm is in opposite phase at the slit and the wavelengths that cancel each other are shortened.

A horn type tweeter is installed in the high frequency range.
Ultra-hard duralumin diaphragm is used for the diaphragm to improve high-frequency stretch and transient characteristics.
