A bookshelf type speaker system that employs a slit system.

In the slit method, the sound of the unit is radiated as a spherical wave by installing a slit in front of the woofer, and the directivity characteristic in the middle and low range is improved.

A twin drive system using 16 cm cone type woofer W-1608A and W-1608B is adopted for the low range.
These two woofer units are designed with the vibration system material, such as cone paper, and the frequency and impedance characteristics slightly different from each other. In addition, the enclosure is sealed and completely insulated as a unique BLCS (Back Load Controlled System). The network is also set to a different constant. Thus, the electrical and acoustic specifications are completely staggered. This greatly improves the defects of conventional same-woofer parallel drive systems, and enables voluminous low-frequency playback.

A 2.5 cm inverted dome tweeter, TW-308D, is mounted in the high range.
Because the conventional dome type uses an outer drive system in which the diaphragm is supported only by the edge portion, rolling phenomenon often occurs in the low frequency range of the squaker, which is given a large amplitude, and the operation becomes unstable. This unit uses an inner drive system in which the diaphragm is supported by two points, the edge portion and the drive portion, and stable operation even in large amplitude is realized.

Equipped with a 3-step level control for high frequencies.
