D-N7TX
Commentary

A bookshelf-type speaker system developed for mini-components.

The D-N7TX is a speaker developed for Onkyo's mini component, and it was sold as a set in mini components such as X-N7TX and X-NX10A.

A 13 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
An A-OMF monocoque cone is used for the vibration plate of this unit. The center cap, which was previously attached as a separate part, has been removed and the structure is integrally molded into a bowl shape. By balancing weight reduction and rigidity enhancement, division vibration is suppressed.
In the D-N7TX, the strength of the diaphragm is improved by modifying the manufacturing process of the diaphragm material, and the shape of each part such as the edge is also a new design.

A 3 cm ring type tweeter is installed in the high range.
It employs a balanced drive structure that uses the center of the diaphragm as a drive point. It can be driven smoothly even at around 20 kHz, greatly reducing split vibration. In addition, a new equalizer shape that is less susceptible to noise has been developed to improve expressive power in the vocal band.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
The bass reflex duct employs an independently developed slit-shaped duct, the Aero Acoustic Drive, which greatly reduces noise radiation from the duct and unwanted resonance of the cabinet.
