Commentary
A tall boy type speaker system that employs a twin drive woofer system.
In the low range, two 12 cm cone type woofers with silk OMF diaphragms are mounted.
The silk OMF diaphragm is made of ultra-fine silk fiber from natural cocoon thread without impurities. It has a multi-layered structure consisting of non-woven fabric (fabric not woven with vertical and horizontal threads) with the fibers aligned in a certain direction, and multiple layers of fibers aligned in different directions. To increase the strength, both sides of the fiber layer are bound with unsaturated polyester resin and molded.
Since this diaphragm uses a manufacturing method that makes it difficult for resin to mix into the silk fiber layer, the silk fiber is in a state of being able to move, and the gap between fibers and layers acts as a loss to further reduce noise.
A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
MDF is used for the enclosure, and the module structure is adopted to suppress unnecessary vibration by providing effective reinforcement inside.
The speaker terminal uses a screw-type speaker terminal that supports banana plugs.
