Commentary
New 202A series speaker system that uses silk OMF diaphragm.
A 16 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm uses a silk OMF (ONKYO Micor Fiber) diaphragm. This diaphragm uses natural silk material with high internal loss to minimize noise components generated from the diaphragm. It also improves the transient by balancing the mass and rigidity of the diaphragm.
A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
Pure silk diaphragm is used used for the diaphragm, and an oxygen-free voice coil is used for the voice coil.
The network section uses condensers and other parts made by German company WIMA to improve sound quality.
The enclosure has a bass-reflex design, MDF board, and a real wood veneer paint finish.
The input terminal uses a gold-plated brass scraping terminal that supports banana plugs.
The speaker cable XP made by Monster is included as an accessory.
There was a speaker stand exclusively for D-202AX/D-202AXLTD sold separately.
