A cassette deck that supports metal tapes.

A 2-motor configuration has been adopted for the mechanism part, and a high-precision FG servo DC motor for capstan drive and a DC motor for reel drive are mounted.
It is directly driven by a large flywheel and a coaxial FG servo DC motor, which combines the simple structure inherent in the direct drive system and realizes excellent running performance.

A special hard permalloy head with a hard guard is used for the recording / reproducing head. Permalloy, which has a reputation for good sound quality, is used as a basic magnetic material, and basic performance such as head touch, abrasion resistance, and saturation magnetic flux density are improved.
First of all, in terms of sound quality, the contour effect is reduced by improving the head touch by adopting a hyperboloid head shape.
In addition, the saturation magnetic flux density is expanded to support metal tape.
As for durability, a hard layer called Mohs scale 8.5, which is equivalent to diamond, is specially deposited on the surface of permalloy to guard the core and ensure excellent abrasion resistance. In addition, parts without a core are also guarded with metal of the same hardness as the core to prevent uneven wear of the core.

Equipped with a fade-out mechanism.
The fade-out level and time can be freely adjusted in volume type, and it is a push switch type to prevent erroneous erasure.

The operation system is feather touch full logic control.
Switching from Play to a different function such as FF or Rew is a direct change method without via Stop, and the built-in Silent Stop with electromagnetic brake prevents the tape from being damaged.

Equipped with a 3-stage tape selector for metal tapes.
3-step switching between Metal, High and Norm is possible depending on the type of tape used.

Equipped with an accu-bias control mechanism.
By controlling the bias value to the optimum value, this function can cope with the subtle characteristics of the same type of tape depending on brand and grade.

Built-in counter and built-in memory stop & play function.

Equipped with a Rec Mute mechanism.

The Dolby System is installed as a noise reduction system.

Equipped with a standby mechanism, and by combining with a separately sold timer, it is possible to record your absence or play an alarm clock.

Equipped with a full auto-stop mechanism to prevent stress on the mechanism and tape.

There was a wired remote control as an option sold separately.
