Commentary
This is a full auto player that inherits the design policy of the PX-8F and aims for thorough high fidelity.
The tone arm uses a precision deadening and straight pipe arm that realizes lighter weight and higher rigidity for high compliance of the cartridge.
In addition, in conjunction with the ADC-type carbon fiber head shell, the resolution has been improved by eliminating low-frequency resonance such as warping of records, internal distortion, and partial resonance.
Equipped with VM cartridge with elliptical needle.
The drive system uses Onkyo's unique quartz lock system high torque 20-pole 30-slot DD motor.
In addition, the full-auto mechanism uses a motor exclusively for arm drive to achieve smooth operation, and employs a photoelectric detection type with no side pressure and no burden on the mechanism.
