The CD player is equipped with an Accupulse D/A converter which combines an Accupulse quartz system and a single-bit D/A converter for the D/A converter.

In order to obtain an accurate signal cycle of digital signals, it is equipped with an accupulse quartz system with improved crystal oscillator and oscillation circuit. In addition to adopting a small crystal with a shape that is not easily affected by external vibration, the element is protected by an anti-vibration material (Paris Solar Bar) to suppress external vibration. In addition, the oscillation circuit is equipped with a resonance circuit consisting of a capacitor and a coil, and has an electric flywheel effect to absorb instantaneous fluctuations.
It is also equipped with a 0 shift noise shaper that disperses quantization noise frequency characteristics to 0 points to reduce high-frequency noise in the audio band. This ensures 16-bit accuracy in the entire audio band while maintaining 20-bit accuracy up to 12 kHz, which is important for audibility.
In addition, during the conversion process from digital to analog, it passes through a PWM (pulse width modulation) circuit. Two PWM converters are installed to solve problems such as high-level signals and distortion at high frequencies.
These two PWM circuits are operated in complimentary service, and the output of each is input to a distortion canceler circuit to cancel out the distortion components and output only the audio signal.
By applying these technologies to a single-bit D/A converter, we have eliminated the 0 cross distortion and non-linear distortion that conventional multi-bit D/A converters have.

The disc tray uses high-rigidity aluminum die-cast to eliminate unwanted resonance during disc playing.
In addition, by laying out in the center part where vibration is least transmitted, transmission of harmful resonance modes is suppressed and vibration is not transmitted to electronic circuits.
In addition, a high-speed access linear motor is adopted for the drive system to realize quick operation.
The mechanism computer simulation, the mechanism is located at the center where vibration is minimal, separated from the chassis. In addition, a super isolated floating suspension with special spring and silicon rubber for vibration control in both vertical and horizontal modes is adopted to eliminate the influence of disturbance vibration.

The power supply section is equipped with two LASER transformers unique to Onkyo that reduce the magnetic leakage flux to approximately 1 / 30 of that of conventional transformers, thereby reducing the leakage flux that generates harmful noise due to magnetic induction in electronic circuits.

Using an optical transmission method, CD data is optically transmitted and the electrical loop is cut off prevent digital noise from entering the analog circuit.

Wireless remote control is included.
