Commentary

A CD player that uses rational construction to extract music information from CDs.

It is equipped with a sampling rate converter that converts from the CD's natural sampling frequency of 44.1 kHz to 52 kHz for easier noise reduction. This simplifies the filter circuit and improves sound quality.
In principle, this method can avoid the effect of jitter and is useful for improving the conversion accuracy.

The D/A converter uses two independent L/R single-bit DACs using a fourth order noise shaper for differential operation in order to effectively reduce the noise level in the band, which is the fate of single-bit DACs. This reduces distortion.
In addition, high-quality parts such as film capacitors manufactured by Raderstein and WIMA in Germany are used for the analog part in the latter stage.

Equipped with a digital servo system, every time a disc is loaded, error signals due to eccentricity or warpage are detected and fed back. Tracking, focus, offset, and gain related to the accuracy of reading are automatically controlled to optimize values to reduce reading errors.

The mechanism that drives the 3-beam laser pickup is equipped with an original linear motor mechanism in order to realize high speed access and high tracking.
Rubber magnets have been newly adopted to improve the vibration control of magnetic circuits, which had been difficult in the past. The tray is made of die-cast aluminum and マティロ coated to improve vibration control.
Furthermore, in order to effectively cut off electromagnetic noise generated by the pickup, the entire mechanism is strictly shielded by a steel case.

The power supply is equipped with the double-core laser transformer used in the pre-main amplifier of the Integra series to reduce harmful magnetic leakage. The smoothing capacitor for audio circuits is equipped with a 10,000 μ Fx2 blue capacitor.
In addition, the constant voltage circuit is composed of two stages for the analog type and three stages for the DAC type to improve the stability of the power supply.

Two analog output terminals are mounted, and a machined pin jack is used for the fixed output terminal.
In addition, it is equipped with two digital outputs that can be turned ON/OFF with the front switch.

Equipped with a 4-mode display switching function that enables display ON/OFF.

It is equipped with functions such as time edit function, 20-track memory selection, 20-track random calendar, and repeat all songs / repeat between A and B.

Uses an insulator made by DuPont Corian.

Wireless remote control is included.
