Commentary

A CD player equipped with an optical transmission system that prevents mutual interference and an X stabilizer and other anti-vibration measures.

An optical transmission method is used to prevent interference between digital and analog signals.
The optical transmission system of the C-701X transmits 7 systems of data signal, bit clock, word clock, L clock, R clock, emphasis and muting. Optolink module (optical transmission element) which connects optical transmission and receiving elements with 11 mm optical fiber and photocoupler are selectively used according to the transmission speed, and digital and analog are electrically separated, and the penetration of digital noise into the analog circuit is blocked.

An X stabilizer made of PbSb special alloy that connects four bases in an X-shape is adopted, increasing the rigidity of the frame and suppressing external vibration.
In addition, zirconia particles are attached under the PC board of the analog section to convert vibration into frictional heat at the particle contact surface to prevent vibration. In addition to zirconia particles, an electromagnetic wave absorbing material is also mixed to suppress electromagnetic wave induction from digital circuits.
In addition, the I ・ F ・ S structure pickup part which is separated from the main body chassis and suspended by non-repulsion rubber and spring, and the cover vibration control measure by special vibration control material mixed with mica and resin material are applied.

The D/A converter employs a newly developed ladder type D/A converter for serial optical transmission. This eliminates the analog crystal oscillator needed for the integration type and suppresses the generation of beats.
In addition, digital distortion at the low bit is removed by a linear summing circuit.
