Integra DV-S939
Commentary

DVD-Ultra compliant THX Audio/Video player.

It has received strict THX Ultra certification with 60 items for video, 30 items for audio, and 20 items for operation.

It is compatible with the progressive scan method in which the scan line is twice that of the interlace method.
Moreover, since 24-frame images are converted into 60-frame images as they are at double speed, natural and smooth images are reproduced without overlapping fields or jagged outlines of subjects as in 3-2 pull-down processing (telecine conversion).

Equipped with a 54 MHz / 10-bit video D/A converter. With 10-bit resolution exceeding the DVD format, reproduction is possible with a margin. In addition, by speeding up operation from the conventional 27 MHz to 54 MHz, over-sampling processing of progressive signals is possible, and horizontal resolution of 540 lines with progressive video is achieved.

For both interlaced and progressive images, on-screen display provides image quality control.

Equipped with an RS232 terminal, it is also compatible with home integrated control systems such as the AMX system.
It also includes an expansion board slot for the IEEE1394 terminal that enables power supply and voice transmission with a single cable.

Equipped with Dolby digital and DTS digital audio output jacks.

Equipped with a Dolby digital decoder.

Equipped with a 192 kHz / 24-bit D/A converter.

It provides a stable DC supply and uses dual power supplies that prevent digital noise from entering the analog ground in the audio path.

Equipped with a direct digital path circuit.

Uses a magnetic shielding mechanism that does not affect the image and sound.

Equipped with a video circuit off function that enables playback of better sound quality by temporarily turning off video signal processing.

It is equipped with DNR function that can play back a source with a lot of image noise on a screen with less noise.

It is equipped with a virtual remote control function that enables various remote control operations by displaying a picture of the remote control on the screen.

It is equipped with a navigation function that displays a screen with operation icons and enables you to jump to the function you want to use.

It has a capture function that can be used as a background by memorizing your favorite scene.

The DB-25 interface allows multi-channel outputs to be connected via a single cable.

It comes with a learning remote controller that can learn the remote control code of another connected device.
