Commentary

AV amplifier equipped with Dolby Pro Logic II and MPEG-2 AAC decoder.

In addition to DTS and Dolby Digital, it is equipped with a Dolby Pro Logic II decoder capable of 5.1 channel playback from a 2-channel sound source, and an MPEG-2 AAC decoder, an audio format for BS digital broadcasting.

A new design has been adopted for the amplifier section.
The design layout is designed to minimize noise by increasing the depth of the casing and shortening the wiring between circuit boards. The digital signal processing circuit uses a Cirrus Logic 24-bit DSP processor and a 96 kHz / 24-bit D/A converter.

In order to compensate for the difference in the playback environment from a movie theater where speakers are installed behind the screen, it is equipped with a cinema filter function unique to Onkyo that reduces the high-frequency component and realizes more natural sound.

It is equipped with a crossover frequency switching function (80/100/120Hz) that can adjust the low frequency band emitted from the subwoofer depending on the speaker size.

In addition, it is equipped with a double bus circuit that realizes powerful low sound reproduction even from a sound source without an LFE signal.

Equipped with a simple configuration function, you can easily obtain sound field space by simply setting the number of speakers and the ON/OFF of the subwoofer.
In addition, the Center Delay and Surround Delay functions allow you to fine-tune the settings.

It uses an audio / video separation board that protects the signal purity by preventing noise contamination.

All channels use a screw-type speaker terminal that supports banana plugs.

Equipped with digital / analog automatic input switching function.

It is equipped with a late night mode in which you can listen to the dialogue even in low volume playback such as at night, and large sound effects are limited to the degree.
This function can be used when playing Dolby Digital.

Onkyo's unique surround modes include Orchestra, Unplugged, Studio-Mix, TV Logic and All Ch Stereo.

It comes with a remote control for main operation such as DVD player made by Onkyo.
