Commentary

A pre-main amplifier developed with the technology of advanced equipment.

In the power amplification stage of the power amplifier section, the basic circuit itself has a low distortion factor and a wide bandwidth, and a non-feedback system without using NFB is adopted.
This prevents the influence of back electromotive force from the speaker.

The power supply section is equipped with a double-core AEI (Anti Electromagnetic Interference) transformer with the same structure as the high-grade Integra A-927/A-929.
By combining two coil cores that are continuous in the rolling direction with the least magnetic resistance, magnetic leakage that is harmful to the amplifier is suppressed to the limit. In addition, the coil can be made into a cylindrical shape, and even very thick copper wire can be wound without difficulty. This improves the current supply capability and realizes a power supply section that is resistant to instantaneous changes and continuous large current.

Equipped with a remote controller, volume adjustment and input switching can be done at hand.
The Input Selector and Volume Control are controlled by a motor drive system that does not degrade sound quality, rather than by a remote control system that uses an electronic system. The microcomputer that controls them is placed between the chassis and the front panel so that unnecessary noise is not radiated to the audio circuit.
In addition, you can control RI-marked Onkyo CD players, tuners and cassette decks with the attached remote control.

The internal structure is designed to minimize the signal path from input to output and to provide a rational power supply line. Each block is a solid box-shaped structure that is connected to each other to increase the overall chassis strength.
In addition, emphasis is placed on vibration analysis and irregular ribs are provided everywhere to ensure strength and disperse resonance.

The blue condenser used in the Integra series is installed in the power supply unit.

Equipped with a direct selector that bypasses the tone circuit.

Equipped with a recording selector.

A built-in MM/MC phono equalizer is also available for analog players.
