The Integrated Amplifier which compiled the design know-how of the Integra series into one book, and put into practice and investigated the tone-quality intention.

The original super current amplifier stream composition of Onkyo is adopted as a power amplifier part.
With this amplifier, the Bi-MOS drive scheme which performs a voltage-electric-current translation in the preceding paragraph of an output stage is adopted, and it is an electric current with current-drive amplifier. - The stable and linear amplification is realized by carrying out current amplification.
Current-drive amplifier is not influenced by the voltage -> electric-current transfer characteristic of a transistor like the conventional output stage, but it has electric-current amplifier composition which supplies the output current to a speaker in proportion to the electric current sent from the front stage, and excels in a linearity, and there is also no variation by a temperature.
Moreover, the Bi-MOS drive scheme adopted as the preceding paragraph,In a small electric-current area, the property of a riser curve with loose MOS FET is shown, and the comfortable and linear property of a bipolar transistor becomes dominant in a large-current area in the circuitry using two elements, MOS FET and a bipolar transistor. Thereby, the property very near a linear line was acquired in the crossover area, and the linearity property which has an elongation also in a large swing area is realized.
Furthermore, as for this power amplifier part, + side / - side serves as a perfect symmetrical whole page push pull specification, and the current-drive amplifier stage of the last stage following the differential-amplification stage of the first rank, a pre driver, and the Bi-MOS drive stage has 3 parallel composition.

The twin monophonic stream composition of the right-and-left independency was adopted, the small signal block was put on the central part, and the power part / power-source part treating a large current are arranged right and left.
While this suppresses the cross interferencee by the electromagnetic waves from a large current, shortening of signal transmission distance is attained.

The LASER transformer which reduced the magnetic leakage flux emitted to a perimeter at a power-source part to about 1/30 as compared with the conventional transformer is carried in each one right and left a total of two pieces.

The specific technology of Onkyo, such as a delta turbo power source, a pre / power part independent super servo amplifier, is adopted.

Functionalities, such as a Source-Direct switchpoint, a direct tone circuitry, a tapes value monitor, MC2 position cartridge selector, and a charge noise filter, are carried.

The remote control which can operate a power source, a volume, an input selector, and a muting by a hand is attached.
The volume and the input selector adopted the motor drive scheme, and have prevented nonlinear distortion generated with a semiconductor switchpoint etc.
