Commentary

A pre-main amplifier of the RX series that employs a double sensing servo system.

In the double sensing servo system, in addition to the conventional negative feedback, servo feedback is applied to the input side of the amplifier through the servo amplifier from both the + terminal and - terminal of the speaker.
The servo on the + side cuts out harmful noise components at very low frequencies, and the servo on the - side cancels out distortion and noise components caused by electromotive force in the impedance of the earth line, and controls the - terminal of the speaker precisely.
This makes it possible to drive accurately not only the + terminal but also the - terminal of the speaker.

It uses a simple two amplifier configuration with only an equalizer amplifier and a power amplifier section with a double sensing servo system. Moreover, it uses a unique direct tone system that does not require a tone amplifier to increase the purity of the sound.

Each of the two tape jacks has an independent recording selector. You can record completely different signals using Tape1 and Tape2, or use a deck and a graphic equalizer for equalization recording.
In addition, since the recording selector is equipped with an off position, the deck recording terminal can be completely disconnected from the signal system when recording is not performed.

In order to improve the low impedance capability, the power supply part is strengthened and parallel connection power transistor is adopted.

A charge noise filter is installed to reduce power supply noise.

It employs a linear switching system originally developed by ONKYO, and the crossover distortion is reduced by a special linearity correction circuit applied to the power stage.
In addition, switching distortion is improved by the adoption of high-ft power transistor.

The equalizer amplifier section uses a high-gain equalizer amplifier for low-impedance MC cartridges.

There are 2 color variations, black and silver.
