Commentary

Digital / surround amplifier with twin PLL.

The A-10 series is equipped with an NEC original reserve power supply. The phase of the output is delayed by 90 degrees and the ripple valley is filled with another power supply. This improves low-frequency playback at high output.

A twin PLL circuit is installed in order to accurately tune sources with different sampling frequencies and to perform more accurate conversion with a D/A converter.
In this circuit, the PLL circuit for clock extraction is composed of two stages in series which greatly reduces jitter and improves sound quality.

The D/A converter is equipped with an 8 x oversampling digital filter, which reduces the load on the low-pass filter by making the digital audio signal closer to a smooth and continuous waveform and making the non-audio signal extremely high-frequency components, thereby increasing the passband and reducing phase distortion.
In addition, by adopting a twin configuration for the グリッヂレス D/A converter that does not require a degrizer circuit, the phase difference between the left and right channels is eliminated and the S/N ratio is improved.

It is equipped with a surround circuit of Dolby surround and Hall surround.
The delay circuit uses a well-established digital delay to achieve surround sound reproduction with less noise.

The selector function can be used even in the power standby state.

Equipped with a digital direct switch, when the switch is turned on, the desired source can be selected only with the digital input switch regardless of the status of the digital / analog switch.
In this state, the surround circuit does not operate.

Equipped with a BS Rec switch, you can record satellite broadcasts using video and audio devices connected to the Video1, Video2 and Tape2 jacks regardless of the state of other switches.

Equipped with a REC selector that can record programs other than the monitor.
It is also equipped with a surround selector that enables video and audio to cross each other for recording and recording.

Equipped with speaker off switch and mono-out terminal.

The volume has a motor volume that can be adjusted with a remote control.

It comes with a wireless remote control and can also control the NEC BS tuners NE-BST5000 and NE-BST2000.
