Commentary
An AV Surround Center that supports Dolby Pro Logic Surround.
Equipped with a Dolby Surround Decoder, it supports Dolby Pro Logic Surround.
In addition, in order to keep the Dolby Pro Logic in the best state at all times, it is equipped with an auto input balance that automatically adjusts the Lch and Rch level balance of the input signal.
The center channel is equipped with a dual center function to improve the orientation of the center.
A newly developed parametric equalizer is also installed to adjust the sound quality of the center channel when the center speaker is different from the front speaker.
Equipped with 2 channel independent digital delay circuit.
The delay time is in the range of 0 msec ~ 30 msec (in the case of Dolby Pro Logic, the left and right channels can be independently set in the range of 15 msec ~ 30 msec), and fine adjustment of 1.5 msec steps is possible.
The master volume uses a motor drive that can be controlled by a remote controller.
Equipped with three center channel modes.
Normal mode is suitable for use with small center speakers. Signals below 100 Hz are cut off and sent to the center channel, while signals below 100 Hz are sent to the left and right of the front.
The wide mode is suitable for using a bookshelf type or larger speaker as the center, and the signal is sent directly to the center channel.
In phantom mode, the center speaker is not used and the signal is divided to the left and right of the front.
Equipped with 3-channel logic mode suitable for cases where the rear speaker is not used.
In this mode, the surround signal is output from the left and right sides of the front, so that the rear speaker is positioned in the expected position.
The power amplifier section has excellent characteristics by making all 5 amplifiers discrete configuration.
The AV selector, surround, attenuator (sound level), test tone, sound output level and steering meter (sound localization) operation status can be displayed on the LCD and on-screen.
In addition, the on-screen display can be selected from off, 3, 5, 7 or 9 seconds on the system set screen.
Depending on the input level, the ATT level can be preset in the range of 1 dB steps from 0 dB to 13 dB.
The ATT circuit uses a discrete ATT circuit that uses bipolar transistors to emphasize sound quality.
It is equipped with a test tone using a noise sequencer, and the volume balance of each channel can be adjusted.
Equipped with a REC selector, REC sound selector and REC monitor.
Equipped with a sleep timer function, it can be set up to 3 hours in units of 10 minutes.
AUTO FADE OUT operates one minute before the power is turned off by the timer.
Equipped with BSVA system control function capable of controlling with NEC BSVA system.
Comes with a multi-functional wireless remote control with learning capabilities.
By remote control operation, volume balance of each channel of 5 ch and volume of channel 5 ch can be controlled in 1 db step.
