The cassette deck which adopted the discrete head stream composition which made a sound recording/reproducing head make it independent.

In 581, since line amplifier serves as recording-play combination, an after monitor cannot be performed, but the testing tone of 400Hz/15 kHz can carry out the Direct reading of the regeneration level, recording, and a calibration is easy for it.

The frequency-dispersion type double capstan is adopted.
Although the closed-loop double capstan scheme which holds a tapes by 2 capstans is very advantageous on a modulation noise and a flutter reduction,In 580 serieses, 2 more capstan systems should be differed, the overlap of a flutter peek was avoided, and the modification of a property has been obtained.
