Commentary

An MP type cartridge developed as the best of the MP series.

The MP-50J is unit model, and MP-50HJ is a model with a head shell.

It is designed with the highest priority on quality. The frame part where the shell and cartridge are directly connected has been made thicker, and mechanical properties equal to those of the cartridge with the shell have been achieved. In addition, the knob part has been made larger so that the stylus knob can be easily replaced, and the needle exchange can be ensured by providing a finger guard.
The large knob also plays an important role in dumping the stylus assembly.

The stylus tip uses a solid elliptical diamond hyperelliptical needle with excess parts removed. By reducing the tip mass to 1/3 of the conventional one, distortion and loss are eliminated from the needle tip.

Boron cantilever is used for the cantilever, and slack in the middle range is eliminated by excellent physical characteristics.

It adopts a structure in which the stylus knob and body are fixed with screws, and resonance is completely eliminated.

Uses a strong samarium-cobalt magnet (30 mg ・ Oe).
By fixing a small magnet with an extremely strong magnetic force, we have achieved both high efficiency and high output of the magnetic circuit.

0.1 for the pole piece^t+0.1^t+0.1^tMm full-scale laminated yoke has been developed and adopted to reduce the eddy current loss of the pole piece.

Super Permalloy is used for the shield case to ensure high SN ratio by obtaining excellent magnetic shielding characteristics.

The cylinder is made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (carbon ABS), which is approximately three times stronger than conventional cylinder materials, thereby suppressing unwanted resonance.

Aluminum impact material is used for the frame to minimize the strain of the body and enable a strong structure.

The terminal pin is gold-plated to greatly reduce the contact resistance.

Magnesium alloy is used for the head shell, and silver Litz wire of 99.99% purity is used for the wiring part.
