Commentary
MP type cartridge of the new MP type cartridge series.
The MP-11J is a cartridge unit model, and the MP-11HJ is a head shell attached model.
0. 4x0. 7 mil elliptical needle is used.
The magnetic shielding characteristics are improved by using super permalloy for the shield case, and high SN ratio is secured.
In order to reduce eddy current loss, we have adopted pole pieces that are approximately 15% thinner than conventional ones.
The cylinder is made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (carbon ABS), which is approximately three times stronger than conventional cylinder materials, thereby suppressing unwanted resonance.
The terminal pins are gold-plated.
Magnesium alloy is used for the head shell.
