The FM/AM tuner of the compact size designed considering coexistence of the audiovisual apparatus characteristic and the communication machine characteristic as the first.

Twin color tuning is adopted, and if alignment can be taken, the color of the lighting of the whole dial plate scale will change from a white to green.

In FM front end part, high sensitivity-ization is attained by using the small dual gate MOS FET of NF for a high frequency magnification stage. Furthermore, various disturbance exclusion capability is also raised with the empty core coil and the frequency straight line type variable condenser.
Moreover, the empty core coil is used for a local oscillator, the variable condenser for a local oscillation is formed into a wide gap, and high frequency stability is maintained.

The FM-IF stage is constituted by four linear phase type ceramics filters and three steps of differential amplification excellent in the phase characteristic. The limiter stabilized by this was applied and the outstanding phase characteristic has been acquired.

The broadband Quadrature detection circuit is adopted as a detection circuit, and low distortion reception is enabled.
Moreover, PLL type IF which was excellent in temperature characteristics is adopted as a MPX circuit, and the separation characteristic and the distortion characteristic of having excelled over the large zone are acquired.

AM receiving circuit has adopted the circuit composition of all IC.

Signal meter and tuning meter are carried.
