It is the FM/AM tuner which SANSUI manufactured.

The Quartz PLL digital synthesizer system is adopted. By this system, phase comparison of the frequency from a local oscillating circuit and the exact standard oscillation frequency of a synthesizer part is carried out, and setting up the exact center frequency of IF filter electronically is raising alignment accuracy.

The S/N ratio is improved by adopting the newly developed circuit as a front end part.
Back two back type is used for a varactor diode, and the exclusion capability of image disturbance of an adjoining office is improved. Furthermore, in order to improve the response of a loop and to improve the correction capability at the time of error generating, direct-current amplifier is adopted.

The ceramics filter which was excellent in delay characteristics is adopted as IF stage. This has realized an opposite characteristic improvement called the degree of high selection, and low distortion.
Moreover, S/N is improved by adopting the Quadrature detection system by double tune as a detection stage.

The direct set function which drives in frequency numerically is carried.

Ten FM/AM random-pre-set tuning is possible.

2 mode tuning system of auto and a manual is adopted.
