Commentary
The world's top-class speaker system was completed in 1966 (1966) in cooperation with NHK General Technology Laboratory.
By using a multi-amplifier system with amplifiers for each band, high, middle, and low, crossover frequency characteristics are excellent and intermodulation distortion is extremely small.
In addition, since the distortion is very small even at a large sound output, high-fidelity reproduction in a wide music hall is possible.
The speaker units consist of two 40-cm large-diameter speakers for low frequencies, three 12-cm speakers for middle frequencies, and four 5-cm speakers for high frequencies. The performance and technology of these units were the culmination of the efforts of Mitsubishi Diatone speaker engineers at that time.
Since it is developed for stereo, it has a symmetrical unit arrangement.
All the units used are for monitor, and 4 units of TW-25 type used for the 2S-305 are used for one side, and the middle and low frequency units are used only for AS-4001 and AS-4021 (strictly speaking, the Woofer unit has different impedance).
The structure is such that the volume is adjusted and distributed by the MA 031 type distribution amplifier, and it is amplified by the MA 401 type in each sound range of high, middle and low.
