Commentary
A 2-way speaker system that pursues sound suitable for AV applications.
Two 22 cm cone type woofers are installed in the low range.
This unit is equipped with state-of-the-art digital technology. The diaphragm uses an intra-ply hybrid cone, which inherits the philosophy of the DS-9Z. It is a mixed woven structure of aromatic aramid fiber and PAN-based high-strength carbon fiber, and achieves both high rigidity and high internal loss.
A twin drive configuration for the woofer unit enhances the impact of the low sound.
A 5-cm compound tweeter is installed in the high range.
This unit uses Intra-Ply hybrid cone and Boron DUD, and is a composite structure of cone and dome. The combination of two technologies enhances the regenerative capacity in middle and high areas.
It is a magnetic resistant design.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system and a tall boy design to improve ease of installation on the TV side.
