Commentary

This bass reflex speaker system is a condensation of Diatone technology.

It is equipped with 27 cm cone type woofer which uses for the low range.
The New Aramid Hybrid Cone is used for the diaphragm. This diaphragm is made of aramid hybrid FRP with an intra-ply structure of aramid organic fiber aramid, which has high rigidity and an appropriate loss factor, and inorganic fiber amorphous silica, which has high strength. The DS-66Z has 15% higher strength of amorphous silica than the conventional one and is woven into the hybrid structure to achieve both higher specific elastic modulus and appropriate internal loss.
The frame is a strong R. S. frame that is firmly mounted in the enclosure.

The mid-range is equipped with a 10 cm cone type squaker.
The cone section of the diaphragm is a New Aramid Hybrid Cone similar to the Woofer diaphragm, and the center diaphragm section is a newly developed Omega Titanium Dome with high specific elastic modulus and internal loss.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of boron, which has excellent characteristics such as high-speed response to input signals and suppression of noise inherent in metal materials. By integrating the diaphragm and voice coil bobbin into a D. U. D structure, the driving force generated in the voice coil is transmitted to the diaphragm without loss. This improves transient response, high upper limit frequency, linearity, and input resistance.
In addition, the D. M. system of hybrid structure is adopted for the unit structure, and the whole plate is mounted attenuate the natural resonance of the magnetic circuit itself.

It is a magnetic shielding design, and the screen is not adversely affected even on the side of the cathode ray tube.

A crimping wiring method is used for connection of the network. Wires are passed through a sleeve and then crimped and crimped to eliminate the strain at the boundary between dissimilar metals caused by soldering. In addition, in order to reduce power supply loss due to the wiring system, the wiring after the input terminal is independent for each unit, and the wiring from the input terminal to each unit is connected by a one point concentrated crimping method to ensure a well-balanced current supply.
In addition, laminated oriented cores are used for coils, oxygen-free copper wires are used for electrical wires, and capacitors and resistors are carefully selected after repeated measurements and listening tests.

A two sided round baffle enclosure with a round shape on both sides of the front baffle prevents diffraction of sound waves.
In addition, Diatone's unique computer analysis technology such as modal analysis is utilized in the design of the enclosure to realize a highly rigid distributed resonant enclosure.

There was a special speaker stand sold separately.
