Commentary
This bookshelf speaker system was developed as the first next-generation super-digital speaker in its class.
A 27 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The New Aramid Hybrid Cone is used for the diaphragm. It is composed of an aromatic polyamide organic fiber aramid with high strength and moderate internal loss, and an inorganic fiber amorphous silica with higher intrinsic rigidity. It has a hybrid structure with an intra-ply structure. This makes use of the light weight, high rigidity, and optimum loss factor, and balances high specific elastic modulus and vibration damping characteristics in a high dimension.
In addition, HD (High Damping) suspension is used for the woofer support part, which suppresses the inherent high-order resonance and ensures long-term reliability.
The mid-range is equipped with 10 cm cone type mid-range.
New Aramid Hybrid Cone is used for the diaphragm as well as the woofer, and special elastomer edge is used for the support system.
A 2.5 cm dome-shaped tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of HD (High Damping) alloy. This material is an aluminum alloy with excellent vibration damping characteristics, and its density is 60% lighter than that of titanium. In addition, the diaphragm is made of a DUD structure that integrates the voice coil bobbin and diaphragm to achieve high speed.
In addition, the support part uses a special specification silk tangential edge that realizes low strain, and the frame part uses HRC (High Rigid Construction) frame that increases the strength with the thickness and shape to eliminate adverse effects caused by unnecessary vibrations.
The network section employs a connection method using crimping wiring and an independent power supply method.
The enclosure front baffle has a thickness of 30 mm for higher rigidity, and the two side round cabinet with left and right rounds suppresses sound quality degradation due to the diffraction effect of sound waves.
The input terminal uses a large gold-plated terminal that is compatible with banana plugs.
There was a specially designed speaker stand sold separately.
